Anil Tentu is a seasoned leader with over 16 years of experience in the government sector, primarily focused on fostering innovation and social impact within Andhra Pradesh. As the CEO of the AP Innovation Society (APIS), a key department of ITE&C, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Anil spearheads initiatives and programs that nurture startups, entrepreneurs, and innovators, while promoting skill development across the state.

With a strong background in entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, and public speaking, Anil excels in engaging with diverse stakeholders and effectively communicating the vision of APIS.

He has also worked as a Consultant for World Bank projects, Executive Director and Project Director for various governmental departments including DRDO/DWMA, as well as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for the Minister for Industries, Commerce & IT and the Special Chief Secretary to HCM at the Chief Minister’s Office, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Anil holds a PhD in Political Science and International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University and has completed a General Management Program from the Indian School of Business (ISB). His academic background also includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Governance from the University of Hyderabad and a course in Innovation Management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
