Douglas Kent is the Executive Vice President at Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM). At ASCM, Douglas is mainly responsible for driving innovation and responding to the supply chain resiliency requirements that ASCM is well-positioned to deliver with new ways to tackle Learning and Development needs, corporate supply chain transformation requirements, reliable advanced research and benchmarking, best practices for adoption of digital capabilities and more.

He has also been a member of the European Leadership Team of the Supply-Chain Council (SCC) where he served as Vice Chairman and more recently earned the distinction of becoming the Director for SCC-Europe as well as a Qualified SCOR Instructor.

Douglas is an MBA graduate from Pepperdine University’s School of Management and studied at Harvard University during his post-graduate years. Douglas taught Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management for the MBA Program at the International University of Monaco and Supply and Demand Management, Lean/Six Sigma & SCOR for France’s SKEMA Business School in the Masters of Supply Chain and Purchasing Program.

Douglas is also a frequent lecturer and author of many Supply Chain articles and speaks frequently to audiences worldwide. He is among the Top 100 Influencers in Outsourcing (Venture Outsource), 2012.
