Ata Elyas is a seasoned procurement and supply chain strategic leader with over 20 years of diverse experience across multiple industries and sectors. He is deeply committed to continuous learning and professional development, especially in the evolving landscape of supply chain management within Saudi Arabia’s digitalized economy.

Currently, Ata serves as the Head of Procurement at Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), where he is responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans and overseeing contract and vendor management. His leadership is central to driving strategic initiatives that align with the organization’s objectives and spearheading digital transformation efforts within the procurement department.

Previously, he held the position of General Manager of Procurement Strategy & Partnership at Mobily. Ata’s expertise extends to his tenure as Director of Procurement at Siemens, where he contributed significantly to the company’s procurement success.

Ata Elyas holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Business School Nederland, an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, both from King AbdulAziz University.
